Course Objectives

To impart skills and knowledge on the hotel and accommodation services sector, particularly in the area of housekeeping operations, such as servicing guestrooms and upkeeping public areas. Participants will also be equipped with skills in providing excellent customer service so that they can deliver with a winning edge.

Course Duration

143 hours

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with a WSQ Certificate in Hotel & Accommodation Services. Participants are deemed to have successfully completed the course if they meet the competency standards for each of the seven units in the course outline above.

Admission Criteria

  • Completed secondary education and comfortable with conversational English; or
  • ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (Level 3); and
  • Outgoing personality and service-oriented

(A Career Guidance session will be organised for all applicants before admission into the programme)

Tuition Fees S$3,000
Less WDA funding under SPUR (90% of S$3,000) S$2,700
Total Fee payable by Applicant S$300 + S$21 (GST) = S$321
