Willie Ong, Assistant Vice President

As Assistant Vice President of Ascott Centre for Excellence (ACE), Willie Ong leads the training team of The Ascott Limited. With more than 26 years of experience in Training Management and Human Resources garnered at SHATEC and other leading hospitality organisations, Willie develops and facilitates the training for Ascott, including the Pre-Opening team. Leveraging on his extensive experience in both hotel operations and training, Willie develops new talent for the hospitality industry by leading the Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training at ACE.

Chung Li Ren, Manager

Chung Li Ren designs and develops training programmes for Ascott staff. Li Ren also facilitates training and implements talent development programmes both in Singapore and overseas properties. Before joining Ascott, Li Ren has worked for organisations such as Civil Service College and Joshua Research Consultants, where she managed important customer portfolios and conducted marketing research.

Osman A Khawaja, Assistant Manager

Osman A Khawaja coordinates the development of programs for Human Capital Development at Ascott and liaises with overseas offices on their respective training needs. Prior to joining Ascott, Osman has gained an international experience in well known hotels such as Hotel Bellevue Palace in Switzerland and Conrad Centennial Singapore. Osman also holds a Master of Management in Hospitality, a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.

Alvin Foo, Assistant Manager

Alvin Foo conducts the WSQ programmes in Hotel and Accommodation Services at Ascott Centre for Excellence. With more than 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Alvin is well versed in both the area of back-of-house support and front office operations. Prior to joining Ascott, Alvin has worked for organisations such as SHATEC, Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore, Apollo Hotel Singapore and Furama Riverfront Singapore.

Gloria Goh, Assistant Manager

Gloria Goh conducts training in the WSQ Certificate in Hotel and Accommodation Services (Front Office) at Ascott Centre for Excellence. Before joining Ascott, Gloria has gained 10 years of front office operations experience at hotels such as Pan Pacific Singapore, Meritus Mandarin Singapore, and Carlton Hotel. Gloria has also worked for SHATEC where she trained students in the Diploma programme.

Sharon Lim, Assistant Manager

Sharon Lim conducts training in the WSQ Core Skills and WSQ Certificate in Hotel and Accommodation Services (Housekeeping) at Ascott Centre for Excellence. Sharon is a veteran in the hospitality industry with more than 30 years of experience working in the call centre and housekeeping departments of hotels. Prior to joining Ascott, Sharon has worked for organisations such as the Shangri-La Hotel, the Westin Stamford & Westin Plaza, and Raffles International Training Centre Singapore.
